Start with your full SpeechTherapy.com email address and mailbox password. Our domain has automatic setup information configured, so a compatible app can fill in the server settings for you. If setup completes, you can skip the manual settings below. Some apps or versions still ask you to enter them.
- Open Settings > Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Add Account. Older versions place Mail directly under Settings.
- Enter your email address and continue if that screen appears. If your provider is not listed, choose Add Other Account > Mail Account, or Other > Add Mail Account on older versions.
- Enter your name, full SpeechTherapy.com email address, mailbox password, and a description such as SpeechTherapy.com.
- Let Mail check the account. If it asks for details, select IMAP and enter the servers below.
- Finish verification, leave Mail enabled, and save the account.
Only if Mail asks for server settings
| Setting | Incoming mail | Outgoing mail |
|---|---|---|
| Protocol | IMAP | SMTP |
| Server | imap.speechtherapy.com | smtp.speechtherapy.com |
| Port | 993 | 465 |
| Connection security | SSL/TLS | SSL/TLS |
| Username | Your full SpeechTherapy.com email address | Your full SpeechTherapy.com email address |
| Password | Your mailbox password | Your mailbox password |
Outgoing SMTP authentication is required. If your app asks for an authentication method, use Normal password or Password over the secure connection. An alternative outgoing configuration is port 587 with STARTTLS; keep the port and security type paired correctly.
Enter your outgoing username and password even if Apple labels them optional. If you need to adjust security or ports after adding the account, open its account settings, including Advanced for incoming mail and SMTP for outgoing mail.
Choose a default sender
When multiple accounts are available, look under Settings > Apps > Mail > Default Account and choose your SpeechTherapy.com account. Check From on replies, since a reply may use the account that received it.
After setup, send a short message to another address you can check and reply to it. Confirm that the From address is your SpeechTherapy.com address. Choose your default sending address if your app supports that setting.
If you have not set a mailbox password yet, set it through your Dashboard. For connection errors, compare the server settings or open a support ticket. Do not turn off encryption or accept a certificate warning to complete setup.
