Start with your full SpeechTherapy.com email address and mailbox password. Our domain has automatic setup information configured, so a compatible app can fill in the server settings for you. If setup completes, you can skip the manual settings below. Some apps or versions still ask you to enter them.
- Open Mail and choose Mail > Add Account.
- Enter your email address if prompted, or choose Other Mail Account.
- Enter your name, full SpeechTherapy.com email address, and mailbox password, then sign in.
- If Mail needs server details, select IMAP and enter the incoming and outgoing servers below.
- Complete setup with Mail enabled.
Only if Mail asks for server settings
| Setting | Incoming mail | Outgoing mail |
|---|---|---|
| Protocol | IMAP | SMTP |
| Server | imap.speechtherapy.com | smtp.speechtherapy.com |
| Port | 993 | 465 |
| Connection security | SSL/TLS | SSL/TLS |
| Username | Your full SpeechTherapy.com email address | Your full SpeechTherapy.com email address |
| Password | Your mailbox password | Your mailbox password |
Outgoing SMTP authentication is required. If your app asks for an authentication method, use Normal password or Password over the secure connection. An alternative outgoing configuration is port 587 with STARTTLS; keep the port and security type paired correctly.
To review settings later, use Mail > Settings > Accounts > Server Settings. Earlier macOS versions call Settings “Preferences.” Enter outgoing credentials even if they are shown as optional.
Choose a default sender
Under Mail > Settings > Composing, look for Send new messages from and choose your SpeechTherapy.com account. Replies may still use the address that received the message, so check From.
After setup, send a short message to another address you can check and reply to it. Confirm that the From address is your SpeechTherapy.com address. Choose your default sending address if your app supports that setting.
If you have not set a mailbox password yet, set it through your Dashboard. For connection errors, compare the server settings or open a support ticket. Do not turn off encryption or accept a certificate warning to complete setup.
