Attachments, Mailbox Storage, and Large Files

All Help Articles

Both SpeechTherapy.com email plans include 10 GB of mailbox storage. Storage is the space used by the messages and attachments kept in your mailbox.

Message-size limit

The email platform supports sending and receiving messages up to 50 MB in total. That includes the message and encoded attachments. It does not mean a 50 MB file will fit: email encoding increases attachment size, and the recipient’s provider may impose a smaller limit.

For large files, reduce the attachment size or send a suitable sharing link. Do not use this service to send or store patient information or PHI.

Free up mailbox space

  • Review large messages and attachments, including Sent items.
  • Save a separate copy of anything important before deleting it.
  • Review Trash and Spam. Messages left there can still use mailbox space; empty them only when you are ready to remove those messages.
  • Remember that deleting messages in an IMAP app can also delete them from the server and other devices.

If delivery is failing, see missing incoming mail or delivery errors.
